- Strategic Sourcing: Supports the team in the procurement of goods and services for technology, travel, fleet, MRO, and facilities to ensure they are in line with the Global Procurement policy.
- Leads and supports sourcing projects through a formalized process.
- Supports the development of category strategies and partners with key stakeholders to review policies and procedures related to sourcing, negotiations, and contract execution.
- Supports indirect cost reduction by negotiating with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
- Manages the RFx's process utilizing eProcurement tools.
- Develops new supply sources where suppliers are no longer competitive.
- Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.
- Supplier Management: Facilitates supplier relationship and performance reviews to guarantee accomplishments of the business need.
- Collaborates with Business Units to influence supplier engagement.
- Reviews supplier reporting to validate contractual Service Level Agreements (SLA)s are being met.
- Reviews and monitors supplier issues.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3- 5 years of procurement related experience required
- Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) preferred
- Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent projects
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, virtual and dynamic environment
- Must be detail oriented and comfortable working on your own initiative
- Excellent MS Office Excel skills, including creating and manipulating pivot tables
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Familiarity with eSourcing and e-buying tools, SharePoint
- Analysis and Problem Solving - Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn findings into executable plans to meet business objectives
- Team work - Ability to work collaboratively with both suppliers and key stakeholders. To influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
- Customer Focus - Ability to provide excellent customer service, identifying, understanding and meeting internal/external stakeholder expectations
