Shift: Day Shift - Continental
Wage: $30 - $40 per hour (based on experience)

As a Trailer Technician, a normal day would include:
- Carry out repairs and maintenance tasks on trailers, such as replacing brakes, repairing or replacing damaged panels, fixing electrical wiring, troubleshooting lighting issues, and addressing any other mechanical problems.
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance tasks on trailers to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
- Accurately document all repairs, maintenance tasks performed, and parts used in compliance with shop procedures.
- Perform Inspections: Conduct thorough inspections of trailers to identify and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify and resolve complex issues in trailer systems and work collaboratively
- Keep track of used parts, request new supplies as needed, and ensure proper storage and labeling of inventory items.Qualifications
What do you need for this position?
- A certified Journeyman Technician or 4 years of experience
- Manitoba Safety certification is a strong asset
- Carrier Certificate would be considered an asset.
- Experience using computers to enter work orders.
- Good communication skills with a professional attitude.
- Hold a valid Driver's License.
- Ability to obtain CVIPSummary
