Reporting to the Payroll and Benefits Manager, North America, the Payroll Administrator is responsible for the timely processing of full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried employees in both Canada and the U.S. with our corresponding payroll team members. This position will maintain payroll compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.Location: Edmonton ABJob Type: Permanent Full-time Salaried EmploymentResponsibilities:Full-cycle payroll including but not limited to the following: Responsible for preparing and processing weekly and semi-monthly payroll for Union and Non-Union Hourly employees.Ensure that the calculation of earnings and deductions are accurate and completed in a timely manner, and is in compliance with Federal, State, Provincial and local laws for our Canada and U.S. employees.Process payroll information associated with newly hired employees, terminated employees, wage verification, withholding allowances, pay rate changes, status changes, benefit deductions, payroll garnishments and direct deposits. Verify Pre-Tax as well as post-tax deductions as prescribed by Company Benefit Policies for Sterling Crane Canada and Sterling Crane LLC.Review, calculate and process payroll information associated with newly hired employees, terminated employees, wage verification, withholding allowances, pay rate changes, status changes, benefit deductions, payroll garnishments and direct deposits.
