We are currently looking for an Instrumentation Technician for a chemical manufacturing company in Mississauga.Location: Mississauga
Position: Instrumentation and Control Technician - must have either 447A or 442A or 309A
Shift: Straight Days - Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm
Payrate: $50 to $60Must have experience in calibrating Instruments (detectors, analyzers, gauges, sensors, indicators and recorders).
Experience with Delta V is a must.
Experience from chemical manufacturing environment will be given preference.Advantages

Electrical system troubleshooting and repairs, PLC and DCS panel I/O layout and wiring assignments, component level repair, etc. Delta V experience is essential.
PLC ladder logic programming and DCS control strategy programming, DCS graphics design for operator interface displays.
Calibration of: instruments (detectors, analyzers, gauges, sensors, indicators and recorders)
test equipment
Instrumentation experience with repairs, restorations, and set-ups
Maintenance and repair of security cameras, DVR and security access system.
ISO 9001 file and documentation maintenance; orders for stock, replacement and new installations.Qualifications
Post Secondary diploma/certifications in related field (i.e. 447A Certification)
Good knowledge of equipment specifications and how they work
Strong understanding of industrial electrics, instrumentation, mechanical repair procedures, pipe fittings.
Highly skilled in the application of the above skills within the chemical processing industry.
Knowledge of Canadian Government legal requirements, i.e. Electrical classification
Safe maintenance practices in a chemical environment.Summary
