? Support and provide input into the development of the proposals
? In review with process prepares Instrument Datasheets for pressure, temperature, level, flow transmitters and actuated valves and is capable of selecting the right technology for the application
? Performs infrastructure design (wiring, cables and associated hardware) of Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Emergency Shutdown (ESD), Burner Management (BMS), Fire and Gas (FGS), General
Purpose PLCs and Analyzer Systems
? Capable of designing Pneumatic, Hydraulic and Relay Controls for specific applications
? Performs Panel Design for the above systems; develops material specification to support procurement
activities
? Prepares scoping and commissioning documentation to support Construction and Commissioning activities
? Supports development and execution of testing procedures for control systems
? Vendor offer reviews and Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) for equipment
? Supports Functional Safety studies including Hazop, LOPA and SIL verification for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS)
? Work with Project Manager/Engineer to manage project priorities and changes
? Prepare technical and status reports for the project
? Identifies scope changes and proactively recommends solutions and provides estimatingRole Qualifications and Skills:
? Engineering Degree or Technologist Diploma (Instrument, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical)
? Experience in Programmable Systems in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical Industry (Preferred)
? TUV FS Eng Certification and knowledge of function safety (Preferred, for design of Safety Systems and also for supporting Functional Safety Studies)
? Self-Starter and able to work with minimal supervision
? Customer Focused, ability to solve client problem and work independently at client site
? Effective communications skills to enhance productivity and builds respect
? Works well within a Team Environment
