This property accountant role requires to do:
Full accounting cycle of a portfolio with various company structures.
Prepare and analyze financial statements;
Cash management to ensure property keeps the proper amount of cash.
Maintain working paper files for all assigned properties;
Prepare of property budget in coordination with other departments.
Process tenant year end realty tax and CAM billings
Prepare monthly management report packages
Communicate with external partiesQualifications
The candidate for this property accountant role in Pointe-Claire has:
A college or University Degree in financial accounting or related
3 years of experience in general accounting
Strong computer skill with high level of MS Office suite, (Excel: vlookup, if, formulas)
Knowledge of accounting policy and procedures (GAAP/IFRS)
Be able to work autonomouslySummary
