Oversee a calendar of B2B marketing campaigns that deliver on overall load factor, gateway, and destination objectives.
Generate new ideas to stimulate increased sales from travel advisors.
Motivate travel advisors to sell more Sunwing packages through thoughtful incentives from our loyalty program, STAR.
Use data and insights to inform annual B2B marketing strategy.
Perform ongoing analysis of Product, Sales, and Marketing data to pinpoint repeatable successes, trends, and correlations that guide growth tactics.
Lead account-based marketing strategy that grows our business with independent travel advisors while maintaining volume with key accounts.
Develop agent personas to nurture the needs of various advisors/agencies based on size of business, specialties, and industry experience.
Responsible for reporting campaign performance and identifying opportunities for optimization.
Act as the go-to-market leader for Sales aligned teams, working together to execute successful demand generation initiatives.
Plan multi-channel campaigns encompassing email nurturing, portal content, organic social, trade media advertising, event marketing, webinars, curated product marketing, and co-op marketing.
Develop tools and content to support Online Travel Agencies and our Sales team, ensuring our brand is brought to life and distinctive from competitors.
Propose promotional efforts that make Sunwing the undeniable choice for travel advisors.
Monitor competitor activities and agent sentiment to ensure Sunwing always has relevant offers in-market.
Collaborate with the wider Marketing team to guarantee consistent B2B involvement in marketing initiatives.
Test new ways to use STAR points for improved ROI, engagement, and fostering positive travel advisor relationships.
Accountable for the Trade Marketing budget.
Manage, allocate and adhere to the annual trade marketing budget.
Negotiate annual rates with trade media partners.
Explore partnership opportunities outside of conventional advertising.What You'll Need:Minimum of five (5) years of work-related experience in Trade and account-based marketing, with at least three (3) years of experience with supervisory responsibilities.
Post-secondary education in a related field
Strong understanding of the Canadian travel market and dynamics of working with travel advisors is preferred.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to think strategically, analyze data, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in team management and leadership capabilities.
Proficiency in budget management and project management.
Proactive ability to prioritize and plan effectively.
