The Business Development Administrator is an integral part of the Canadian Business Development team, providing overall administrative and sales support to the team. The ideal candidate is one with exceptional customer service, professional communication skills, and technical proficiency. Additionally, this role requires someone with the ability to collaborate with other departments, and the sales team on projects, proposals, and reports as well as new tasks assigned.Schedule:
- The position holds regular business hours of Monday to Friday, but flexible to support after hours events and activities.
- Little to no travel is expected.
- Provide administrative and sales support to the team.
- Support the planning and coordination of events, and customer meetings.
- Assist with quotes, RFP’s and customer follow-ups.
- Prepare and organize databases, spreadsheets, and reports as needed.
- Support preparation of presentations, and sales/marketing materials.
- Work closely with logistics and invoicing to ensure tickets are input in a timely matter.
- Input project details into Salesforce.
- Aid invoicing team to track and follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Create and distribute customer reporting daily.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Previous work experience in an office environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, with strong Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint skills.
- Team player who is detail oriented, with ability to plan work effectively, meet the deadlines assigned, and make sound decisions with little direction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with customers and employees at all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with the ability to work without immediate day-to-day supervision.
- Ability to multi-task a variety of projects under pressure and tight deadlines.
