  • Will be responsible for developing and executing methods and procedures in production with the aim of establishing a standardized workflow rate and enhancing overall efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Plant Director to define metrics, monitor them, and measure performance to identify areas for enhancement. Continuously track metrics following the implementation of changes.
  • Create and execute plans to efficiently use materials, labor, and equipment to meet production goals while ensuring compliance.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective production strategies, including conducting necessary risk assessments.
  • Establish guidelines for quality control in the production process and document as needed.
  • Continuously strive to improve productivity by designing, implementing, and testing new procedures.
  • Devise action plans to address efficiency or quality issues, collaborating with teams to establish and calculate key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Generate accurate reports to document process status and changes.
  • Regularly review processes to ensure consistent improvement of results.
  • Create a basic process failure mode analysis (FMEA) and control plan, and implement it across handling, manufacturing, and assembly processes on the production floor.
  • Verify the establishment of essential product features, ensuring they are feasible and practical from a Design for Manufacturability (DFM) standpoint.
  • Confirm suppliers' comprehension of critical product attributes and their commitment to meeting these specifications.
  • Supply boundary samples and supplier control plans when necessary.
  • Adhering to safety procedures, using personal protective equipment, and following safe work practices.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Post-secondary diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Proven solid working experience in a process manufacturing engineering environment.
  • Possess intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and relevant design guides and standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in coaching, training, and leading team members.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven project management skills, showcasing organizational prowess and meticulous attention to detail.
