- Coordination and preparation for field programs including prep of safety plans and hazard assessments.
- Sample collection of various media (soil, groundwater, surface water, sediment, soil vapour, etc.) as part of environmental site investigations, design work packages, and confirmation of remediation programs.
- Oversight of contractors.
- Monitoring and maintenance of remediation systems.
- Data tabulation and data evaluation against provincial and federal environmental requirements
- Support of Engineering calculations and design.
- Support of deliverable preparation including reports, engineering specifications, and associated drawings.
- Diploma or Degree in a relevant technical discipline, including but not limited to environmental, civil, chemical, hydrogeological, and geological study areas.
- 2+ year of experience in environmental consulting, industry, or regulatory environment versed in contaminated site investigation, remediation, civil earthworks, and/or waste management.
- Valid Driver’s license.
- Prior field sampling or site investigation experience.
- BC based and/or federal client work experience.
- Engineering design experience under the supervision of professional engineer
- Strong team work; able to listen to requirements and work well with others.
