Are you interested in advancing your career as a forklift operator? We are currently looking for a skilled forklift operator to join our dynamic team in Burlington, at one of Canada's fastest-growing and leading life sciences industries. As a crucial member of our operations, you will play a significant role in ensuring that our materials and products are handled with precision and care while maintaining efficiency and safety.Advantages
-Day shift 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (M-Thu), Friday 8:00 am to 2:30 pm
The company is in the life science/pharma industry
-Bus route accessible
-Long term ongoing requirement.
-$19-21/hour based on experience
-Half-hour lunch with two 15-minute breaksResponsibilities
-Basic computer skills and understanding of numbers
-Forklift experience required (Reach Truck)
-Experience picking parts and receiving (put-away parts)
-Ability to constantly life 50Lbs and hand bomb parts
-The ability to create shipping labels is a huge bonus
-Shipping and ReceivingQualifications
-Minimum 1-year experience required driving a reach truck
-High school diploma
-Clear criminal background check
-Able to work independently
-Forklift knowledge (No License required)
-Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively
-Ability to pick orders in a cooler and freezer environment if need beSummary
