How will you help the team succeed?
The successful candidate will be responsible for
  • Ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensuring compliance with applicable Environmental laws and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Coordinating site personnel and trade contractors and maintaining accurate records of cost codes.
  • Manage potential problems in design/construction and develop the overall project schedule.
  • Coordinating equipment and workforce to achieve schedule requirements and identifying potential additional work. –
  • Hold regular meetings and review weekly quantity reports for labour costs.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation, policies, and procedures and with applicable Environmental laws and regulations, policies, and procedures. Additionally, they will coordinate equipment and workforce to achieve schedule requirements, identify potential additional work, hold regular meetings, and review weekly quantity reports for labour costs.
  • Continually review the Contract Drawings to identify discrepancies between the various disciplines.
Education and ExperienceThe ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor/Superintendent in a General Contracting environment, with the ability to manage all aspects of the project. –
  • A C.Tech., P.Eng., or CET designation. - Either hold or be eligible for 'Gold Seal' certification.
  • 10-15 years of relevant construction industry experience in the $75-100 million range.
  • Experience in Water/Wastewater, High-Rise/Commercial, ICI/Infrastructure, Transport or Airport Projects.
  • Highly competent in self-performing formwork and concrete.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Ability to effectively manage an hourly workforce and sub-trades. -
  • Proficiency in MS Office is a must.
Salary- $120K-180K dependent on experience
