- Developing a strategy to increase regional business.
- Maintaining, establishing, and developing client relationships, that facilitate successful delivery of projects and future opportunities.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with other consultants, construction contractors, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Supporting corporate business development initiatives.
- Supporting the operations manager with business development (i.e., win strategy and proposal development).
- Leading RFP responses coming through our Regina office.
- Compiling and reporting on regional business development opportunities.
- Planning, organizing, and managing a diverse array of projects, people, and tasks.
- Maintaining and supporting Triton’s industry‑wide reputation as a leader in the environmental consulting industry.
- Successfully managing project delivery through cost-efficient and timely completion of deliverables.
- Providing mentorship and training for our project managers and environmental professional team.
- Maintaining and improving upon Triton and client safety standards.
- Promoting and maintaining a positive work environment through a culture of teamwork and cooperation within the office, region, and between other areas of the organization.
- 10 to 15 years experience within the environmental consulting industry, having strong experience with project management and also business development.
- Degree or diploma in a related field (e.g., environmental science, biology, agrology, ecology)
- Business development acumen (e.g., client relationships, strategic planning, proposal writing).
- Knowledge of and experience with provincial and federal environmental standards, regulations or guidelines.
- Demonstrated experience in project management (i.e., budgeting, project tracking, cost-accounting and scope control).
- Experience with leading and supervising project teams.
- A quick learner, easily adapting to new software applications, systems, and business processes.
- Effective writing skills and ability to produce meaningful reports and proposals.
- Organized and self-managed, with a collaborative working style.
- Strong problem solver able to address challenges with effective solutions, that improve systems and/or relationships, and with strong strategic thinking skills.
- Accreditation or eligibility for accreditation with a professional governing body recognized in Saskatchewan (P. Ag, APEGS) is an asset.
