Our client, Ballygorman Construction Limited, based in Malin Head, Co. Donegal, is currently seeking Shuttering Carpenters for immediate start at their facility in Tullyallen, Co. Louth and various sites around Ireland as per current projects. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Shuttering Carpenter in a previous role required. There are no minimum academic requirements. No formal qualification is required for this role. Further training will be provided on-the-job as required. General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience: - To construct, install, and repair a variety of commercial and industrial structures and fixtures using wood, steel and concrete - To assemble and create wooden elements for the construction of buildings - To cut, shape, assemble, erect and maintain various types of structures and fittings made from wood and other materials - To make, alter and repair structural and other woodwork at a workbench or on a construction site - To construct, erect and install heavy-framed wooden structures on building sites - To fit, assemble and alter internal and external fixtures of buildings such as walls, doors, frames and panelling - Essential knowledge includes types of wood, wood cuts and woodworking tools - Essential skills include sawing, measuring, sketching and reading blueprints - Candidate must be competent in creating wood joints, installing wood elements in structures and interpreting 2D & 3D plans - Candidate must have experience in installing construction profiles, installing wood elements in structures and creating smooth wood surface - Candidate must be familiar with and competent to implement all relevant construction health and safety procedures - Minimum 3 years' of relevant experience as a Shuttering Carpenter Annual remuneration: €42,304.08; Pay rate €20.86 per hour Location: McCarron's Yard, Tullyallen, Co. Louth, and various sites in Ireland as per current projects.
