RhynoCare is recruiting on behalf of one of our esteemed partners for their brand new facility scheduled to open in the spring of 2025.We are looking for dedicated CT technicians to be responsible for providing clear images to Physicians through CT scanning. The CT technician's responsibilities include following Physicians' instructions, explaining the procedure to patients, selecting software options and imaging parameters on the MRI machine, viewing images from the imaging session, and keeping records of reports.Duties and Responsibilities:The Technologist is responsible for producing radiographs and computed tomography images with accountability to storing images and recording them as required. They are to complete examinations requested by medical staff in accordance with the procedures set out in appropriate manuals; assisting the Radiologist in the performance of their procedures and ensures patient comfort and safety; maintaining technical competence as required under the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).Requirements:Must be eligible for CMRITO license by spring 2025.Demonstrated knowledge of all radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, photographic techniques, pathology and record keeping required to operate in the Diagnostic Imaging Department.Proven ability to use varied X-Ray and ancillary equipment to provide high quality diagnostic images for the Radiologist.Ability to perform IV insertions and inject CT contrast.Proven effective communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to assess requests and prioritize them to ensure excellent and prompt patient care.Proven ability to adapt standard work procedures to emergency situations.Must be able to work all shifts on short notice, take stand-by call and be on site within 30 minutes.Job Type: Full-timePay: $45 - $55 per hour depending on experience.
