I'm searching for a compassionate, responsible person to care for a lively 47-year-old woman with paraplegia. This role is more than just caregiving-it encompasses Nanny, Housekeeper, and Personal Assistant duties, promising a diverse and rewarding experience, despite being a live-out position. You'll be responsible for improving the care recipient's quality of life by assisting in personal tasks, household chores, and meal preparation. You may need to escort her to appointments and assist with mobility. Your ability to operate independently and proactively safeguard her welfare will be critical. Experience with paralysis or paraplegic care is beneficial, but not mandatory. Empathy and proactive problem-solving are vital. In this role, your contributions significantly enhance the independence and well-being of a remarkable woman. A valid driver's license is required, with a car provided for on-duty use. Experience in home management or qualifications in first aid and disability care are advantageous but not prerequisites. The role can be full or part-time, with shifts primarily in the morning and midday, from Monday to Sunday, up to 20-30 hours weekly. The start date is planned for May 14th, 2024.
