- Lead and direct the team to deliver high quality, timely products and service in accordance with our goals and objectives.
- Ensure the culture TYLF is maintained to enhance employee engagement, recruitment, and retention efforts.
- Provide effective performance feedback through employee recognition and rewards, and regular performance reviews.
- Maintain and enhance knowledge of products and services to promote Bridgewater Bank’s value proposition and to present new products and services to enhance existing relationships.
- Prepare and complete action plans while identifying trends, issues, and opportunities.
- Determine any necessary system improvements, implement changes and complete audits.
- Provide cash management and follow respective Association and Bank policies on payments to mitigate risk or fraud.
- Ensuring regulatory requirements are met, information is reported accurately, and timely processing of payments.
- Manage the processing and payment of vendor transactions by ensuring a proper control environment, and compliance with the Excise Tax Act.
- Post-secondary degree, certificate, or diploma in Accounting or Business.
- Accounting designation (CPA or legacy designations: CA, CMA, CGA).
- You have at least 5 years of accounting experience with progressive levels of responsibility.
- Two years of supervisory experience.
- Proven understanding of internal controls.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and process improvement skills.
- You’ve proven that you know how to evaluate, develop, and engage staff to live their best lives within their work and personal environments.
