Our client is a well-positioned national company looking for a senior accountant to help with full-cycle accounting, and month-end financials for their Ontario division. 3 weeks vacation +Responsibilities
Participate in the preparation of month-end and year-end files for several companies
o Follow up on fixed asset schedules for various companies
o Follow-up and prepare reconciliation schedules for certain balance sheet and income statement items
o Prepare and enter accounting entries
o Prepare bank reconciliations for different companies and divisions
o Participate in the entry of daily data of the different units
o Prepare financial and operational analyses
o Assist in the preparation of annual budgets for companies and divisions
o Assist in the development and improvement of control processes
o Participate in the month and year-end closing process of the different companies
o Assist in the analysis of monthly margin differences
o Any other related tasks
o The position will be progressive with the possibility of managementQualifications
Bachelor's degree in accounting or graduate diploma
CPA( is an asset )
5 years of experience ( at least 2 in a similar role)
strong excel skills
Experience with an ERP ( SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, GP , Peoplesoft ,etc )
experience in inventory management is an asset.Summary
