Description
  • Collaborates closely with the Director of Sales, Director of Marketing & eCommerce and General Manager to drive total hotel revenue from all booking sources.
  • Acts as a key resource to the sales & catering team regarding rate strategies for group optimization.
  • Acts as a key resource for the marketing team for all hotel packages and promotions to work in conjunction with external website advertising.
  • Responsible for creating room revenue budgets and forecasts.
  • Analyzes market conditions and trending in order to set pricing strategies by segment.
  • Strong understanding of Market Share (RGI) - analyze past and forecast future performance.
  • Prepares revenue management reports and information for Owners, Corporate Office, Senior Management, and all related meetings.
  • Communicates with all hotel departments of business levels in order to assist with operational scheduling.
  • Work closely with the Langham Hospitality Group Regional Directors of Revenue and Sales.
  • Chairs the weekly revenue meetings and attends bi-weekly sales & catering meetings.
  • Manage daily rooms inventory to ensure optimal occupancy levels.
  • Coaches and develops the revenue/reservations team, including Revenue Manager and Reservations Manager.
  • Stays current with all third party booking channels and flash sites.
  • Maintains relationships with third party market managers and RM's in the downtown core.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years in a Senior Revenue role.
  • Downtown Toronto market experiences a definite asset.
  • Experience in large-volume operation
  • Highly proficient in Excel with good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient in IDeaS software a definite asset.
  • · Property management system Opera an asset
  • · Post-Secondary education in hospitality an asset.
  • · Excellent communication and presentation skills.
