- Assists manager, Finance and Commercial Risk, with the management and analysis of district financial reporting, including monthly operations reporting,quaterly financial reporting, mid-year / year-end business planning, district review, and financial accounting year-end ; delegates tasks and responsibilities to ensure it is completed accurately and within deadlines.
- Supports pursuit and project teams to ensure risks and opportuities are identified, communicated and managed effectively.
- Draft/review and negociate various forms of contract language.
- Oversees the strategy and preparation of insurance, performance securities , subcontractor default insurance, and/or legal claims.
- Works closely with senior management and operations staff on district strategy to achieve fiancial and district priorities.
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in a related discipline.
- CPA designation preferred.
- 3 years of supervisory experience involvig managing a department.
- 2 years of exposure to risk management.
- Strong financial management acumen;knowledge of accounting procedures /protocols, budget administration,financial forecasting, analysis, and reporting. Can influence district strategy and translate it into objectives.
- Strong risk interpretation, negociation skills , and strategic thinkng to ensure PCL interests are protected
