As a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal, you will be part of a team responsible for commercial leases.Among your responsibilities, your tasks will include:
  • Preparing and drafting a variety of legal documents specific to the real estate field (leases, amendments, renewals, etc.) ;
  • Managing the commercial lease portfolio by reading, drafting, updating, revising and correcting;
  • Analyze commercial leases;
  • Ensure the accuracy of lease information in the database by comparing it with the original legal documents;
  • Maintain and complete commercial lease documentation;
  • Respond to tenants' requests and questions;
  • Communicate and maintain effective relations with the various members of the department, both in Quebec and in other Canadian provinces.
SKILLS REQUIRED :
  • Legal education;
  • Experience as a Paralegal in commercial, corporate or Real Estate Law;
  • Good level of bilingualism;
  • Great writing skills, particularly in English;
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage several files at once;
  • Autonomy, versatility and team spirit.
