Office located in Montreal, QuebecType: Full-timeWork Experience: 5-8+ years IT Project Manager, IT Project Control Officer, IT Project Management Office, PCO, PMP, CAPM, ClickUp, complex Excel, PowerBI, PMO, Bilingual, fluent/native French, EnglishDESCRIPTION:The main function of an IT PMO Project Control Officer ( PCO ) is to provide project support to the PMO in project management, planning, executing, controlling all phases of the project(s). The role will be status management, project management, reporting, financial tracking, issue and risk management, schedule management and resource management. This role reports to the Director of PMO.REQUIREMENTS:– Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, business management or equivalent– Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent an asset– Proficiency in complex Excel worksheets and formulas– Working knowledge of PowerBI and how to extract and report on large data sets in aggregate - an asset– Proficiency in data visualization, metrics, and patterns to produce insightful reports and collaborate with the PMO team to enhance and automate reporting.– Contribute towards development of data standards, data dictionaries, processes, and definitions of project and data requirements in support of strategy and ongoing operational support.– Demonstrates understanding and application of project management tools and methodologies– Familiarity with IT concepts, methodology and vocabulary is an asset– Effective planning and organizational experience to set priorities and co-ordinate projects to meet deadlines– Effective organizational skills sufficient to manage competing and changing priorities within a dynamic environment– Solid problem-solving skills and analytical skills to creatively develop unique solutions/approaches to resolve issues– Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with multiple clients, teams and partners– Proactive customer service focus– Proficiency in project portfolio management application tools; (Planview, Microsoft Project, ClickUp, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)– 5-8+ years PCO experience within IT– 5-8+ years of PM Project Manager experience within IT– 5-8+ years of previous experience supporting Project Management efforts from an organizational standpoint as a Project Coordinator, Project Administration, or Project Manager– Flexible to take on Project Coordinator and Project Manager responsibilities as required.– Proven experience with forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis– Excellent communication both verbally and through written/dashboard reporting in fluent/native French and EnglishTagged as: bilingual, CAPM, English, French, Hybrid, ITIL, PCO, PMO, PMP, Project Control Officer, Project Coordinator, Project Manager
