We are supporting our Manufacturing Client in the Greater Savannah GA area on an Assembly Contract2Hire Role.Alpha Shift - 7a- 530p. M-Th. OT on Friday20.00/hr. Contract2Hire StatusEssential Functions:Responsible for demonstrating commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies and procedures.Able to properly conduct inspection of upper and lower receiver for any manufacturing or cosmetic defects.Ability to properly assemble all specific manufactured itemsProperly conduct Armorer Quality checks in accordance with clients standards.Ability to read, comprehend and complete work orders and instructions.Conforms to and operates within the framework of all applicable operator work instructions, SOPs, quality, safety procedures and items as deemed by your supervisor or managementOther responsibilities as deemed appropriate or necessary by management.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 1+ years of firearms experience or equivalent combination of education and experience necessary to fulfill the requirement of the position.May be required to work varying shifts as needed.Must be able to manage time efficiently.Demonstrated ability to recognize and work in accordance with our Permission to Play Values.It is understood employees may be assigned to other departments, functional groups, and/or shifts as deemed necessary by managementPhysical Requirements:Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting and bending throughout the workday.Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, to include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc.Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
