The Financial Analyst is a key point of contact for financial analysis, forecast modeling, target company analysis, presentation preparation and project reporting.Details:
- Develop financial modeling to measure and analyse acquisitions, target companies
- Prepare variance analysis, forecasts; provide insight into performance
- Preparation and communication of complex financial analysis to senior leaders
- Developing data and KPIs to support strategic analysis and opportunity evaluation.
- Develops effective business relationships with peers, senior finance team, and Dir level of client team; may have VP/ELT exp
- Understanding of the telecommunications industry
- Project management fundamentals and best practices
- Deep budgeting and forecasting models experience
- Experience in leasing, rights of way or land acquisitions
- Solid understanding of telecom products and solutions
- Advanced proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Enthusiastic self-starter with a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges
- Flawless quantitative and analytical skills complemented by ability to understand the business context
- Excellent organization, accuracy, and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work both independently and on cross-functional teams in a pressured environment
- Excellent problem-solving and decision making skills with the ability to base decisions on sound financial and market assessments
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- CPA, CFA and/or MBA an significant asset
- 3-5 years' work experience in a financial analytical role
- Experience working with cross-functional teams
