- Develop Project Charters and/or Scope Statements.
- Coordinate project activities, tasks, and milestones to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Identify potential risks, apply risk mitigation strategies, and manage the risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress and provide status reporting.
- Collaborate with various diverse teams and vendors to accomplish project activities.
- Conduct regular team meetings to review progress, discuss challenges, in accordance with the Project Governance organizational structure.
- Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure deliverables are aligned to industry best practices and stakeholder requirements.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Develop project budget estimates, forecasts, and track expenditures. Monitor cost variances and develop plans to minimize impacts to budget. Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role in the Information Technology industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a combination of education and experience would be considered.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. (Agile, Waterfall, PMBOK, MS Project).
- Experience with Organizational Change Management methodologies. (Prosci)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Teams and SharePoint.
- Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Industry experience in automotive retail or a related field is an asset.
- Relevant certifications in project management such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent would be an asset.
- Relevant certifications in organizational change management such as Prosci or equivalent would be an asset.
