This is a 8 month contract opportunity with our key pharmaceutical client. This is a remote opportunity. In this role you will provide analytics expertise to multiple stakeholders across the value chain including drug development, Medical Affairs, RX+, Patient Centricity, etc. To be considered, you will need a Bachelor"s degree Experience in health research analytics (HEOR, commercial analyses, and Outcome based analyses) and 3+ years related experience with 2+ years in healthcare industry, preferably in an epidemiology/ economics/ market access research group working with Real World Data (insurance claims, EMR/ EHR).Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Execute on multiple concomitant projects, including but not limited to, evidence generation using real world data, time series sales forecasting, cost estimation for trials or other related areas.
- Meets regularly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure mutual understanding of the project design, required output and timelines.
- Responsible for the statistical contribution to internal studies to support Bold X objectives.
- Develop and maintain R, Python, SAS/SQL programs for the creation of tables, figures, and deliverables for each project. Desired ability to program in R Shiny to enhance and maintain current tools available.
- Must be able to meet timelines with minimal supervision of progress. Develops programming expertise in advanced statistical.
- Develop data mining and/or data modeling plans to support BoldX projects and programs.
- Stays current on data sources and participates in supporting of PDS Strategy Team by facilitating Maintenance of custom database, correspondence with vendors, set-up of PDS vendor meetings.
- Provides ideas and support for further enhancements to tools, and resources currently developed or plan to be developed to drive innovation.
- Collaborates with Procurement, Data Science, Clinical Trials, MIPI, and the Innovation team to acquire new data and run custom analytics.
- Provide expertise in building in-house tools to enable rapid, high-quality execution for key routine analytics.
- Deliver multiple projects within stipulated timeline and enhance analytical capability of the customers.
- Increase analytical efficiency.
- Identify new applications of existing data.
- Support key use cases of requests from business partners or associated functions through the analysis of OMOP"ed real world data sources.
- Interpret, summarize, and explain analysis results to stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into analytic requirements for project execution and future tool development.
- Collaborate with other internal resources to develop and share best practices and leverage cross-functional efficiencies.
- Bachelor"s degree Experience in health research analytics (HEOR, commercial analyses, and Outcome based analyses)
- 3+ years related experience with 2+ years in healthcare industry, preferably in an epidemiology/ economics/ market access research group working with Real World Data (insurance claims, EMR/ EHR)
- Knowledge of coding against common real-world data types (claims and EMR) and common data models.
- Excellent R, Python, or SAS skills. Preferred R-Shinny skills.
- SQL programming skill with experience on large databases (i.e., millions of records)
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to details, and the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent organizational, planning and project management skills and ability to effectively manage cross-functional projects.
- Ability to work independently in a dynamic fast paced environment, with minimal supervision.
- Masters/PhD Degree in informatics, epidemiology, or clinical discipline. An economics or applied statistics degree is acceptable if the candidate has demonstrated experience with quantitative methods in life science.
- Ability to translate business questions into data analysis plan.
- Must be able to efficiently educate business partners on best use cases for RWD.
- Ability to translate business / functional needs into RWDE analytics projects.
- At least 1-year relevant programming experience. Preferable knowledge of at least one other statistical package (e.g., R, Python)
- Team player with good communication skills.
