If you thrive in fast-paced environments and want to make a real impact, this could be the perfect place to grow your career.About the Role: Manager, Property AccountingThis leadership role involves managing the monthly accounting and reporting cycle for various real estate properties. You'll supervise a team, collaborate with management, and contribute to a wide range of accounting responsibilities.Key Responsibilities- Supervise and guide a team of property accountants.- Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial records for various stakeholders.- Manage monthly accounting close procedures and the full cycle of accounts payable.- Execute daily transactions, track budget variances, and coordinate budget reviews.- Provide support for financial analysis across various departments.- Handle cash flow management and compliance filings.- Collaborate with external accountants and assist with loan financing.- Prepare investor reports, financials, and distributions.- Contribute to the development of annual budgets.Qualifications and Experiences- Relevant post-secondary education in Accounting or Business Administration.- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in property accounting, with demonstrated supervisory experience preferred.- CPA, CA designation or actively enrolled in the CPA program (midway through or nearing completion) is strongly preferred.- Bilingual fluency in French and English is a significant asset.- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- Experience with Yardi software is a plus.- Adaptability to work outside of core hours as needed.- Self-motivated, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and lead a team.- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.Intrigued by this position and think you might be a good fit?
