- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields
- 10+ years of experience in IT technical architecture roles in global organizations
- Strong background in architecture, design, development, management, and control processes.
- Expert technology knowledge in the financial sector (large financial institutions, financial arms of insurance companies, and credit bureaus) is a must-have.
- Have experience and passionate about leveraging technologies to drive innovation and efficiency to enable business objectives.
- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced, challenging, and dynamic business environment.
- Superior interpersonal skills, leadership, and influential capabilities
- Self-motivated; work both independently and collaboratively with multi-functional teams, as both a leader and member.
- Superior presentation and written communication skills.
- Good understanding on how to align IT strategies with business objectives.
- Expertise in IT architecture (TOGAF, Erwin/equivalent certified preferred), strong understanding of infrastructure, data, InfoSec, Operations, DevSecOps.
- Good understanding in Cloud and Data technologies and their practical applications is a definite asset.
- Strong people leadership in a technical capacity (attract, grow, and retain)
- Ability to work during off regular office hours to enable collaboration across global teams, and for production issue management or implementation support.
- Work with business, sales/product, and technology groups to understand current state, current gaps, and define future state required to enable business objectives.
- Define/maintain a 3-5-year technology strategy for the domain(s) including IT reference architectures and plan.
- Lead the development of implementation roadmaps and ensure solutions are in line with enterprise vision as well as aligned with industry standards and best practices.
- Provide technical leadership for application transformation and legacy technology modernization initiatives.
- Share knowledge and collaborate with others within the team and with other teams across the global TU organization to ensure effective delivery of projects.
- Present and communicate with regional/corporate leaders on an ongoing basis to gather feedback, report progress and solve issues.
- Liaise with business and technical stakeholders to ensure proper priority in addressing technical debt. Provide direction to delivery teams to ensure they are addressed in the most efficient manner (e.g. identify related components).
- Provide high level estimates on delivery work effort (design, development and QA, implementation, and post implementation support).
- Work closely with technical teams and SMEs to ensure technology initiatives are delivered on time, within budget and deliver defined scope/value.
- Govern, guide and act as point of escalation for delivery teams to ensure right end-to end solutions.
- Work closely with non-technology teams including business lines, Finance and Legal/Compliance/Risk to ensure technology initiatives are meeting business needs and are integrated within the organization efficiently.
- Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies, processes, and tools to enhance development and QA capabilities.
