- Provide dedicated engineering support to on-site operational teams including Production, Quality, Methods, Supply Chain, and Flight Operations during interior fabrication, completion activities, ground runs, flight testing and delivery to end customer.
- Be responsible for Global 5500/6500/7500 aircraft troubleshooting and non-conformance disposition on all shifts.
- Align and collaborate with the site leaders with a holistic engineering approach to achieve Program objectives.
- Create, influence, and align complex tactical plans to support high priority Operations milestones.
- Establish strategy, governance, and tactical plans for the engineering team.
- Work in close collaboration with Global Engineering teams in Montreal, Toronto and Red Oak to resolve issues rapidly and effectively.
- Prepare presentations for customers and lead technical discussions with customer representatives as needed during the delivery process.
- Coach engineering supervisors and individual contributors to build and sustain a highly effective environment that supports cooperation, employee engagement and trust.
- Engage with the Liaison and Completion communities across Bombardier sites and programs to leverage best practices and improve processes.
- You hold a Bachelor or Master's degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
- You have over 5 years of experience in aerospace engineering leadership roles.
- You have experience and a proven track record supporting production operations, dispositioning non-conformances and troubleshooting aircraft.
- You can make sound technical decisions under pressure and drive timely resolution of complex engineering issues impacting production operations.
