Main Duties
  • Organize and maintain accounting records to internal company and GAAP accounting standards
  • Prepare and issue internal Monthly/Quarterly financial statements
  • Prepare and issue weekly management/accountant reports and work status
  • Prepare accounting transactions and journal entries including but not limited to financial transactions such
as purchases, sales, invoices, payments, balance sheet entries, leases, asset additions and dispositions * Complete relevant bank and account reconciliations
  • Weekly accounts receivable review collections and deposits
  • Weekly accounts payable review statement reconciliations and issuing payments
  • Coordinating with auditors / external accountants during financial audits by providing requested
documentation and explanation to ensure a smooth audit process * Adapt to all differing types of correspondences (email/text/paper/collaboration platform), and correspondwith intra-company and extra-company personnel * Daily till (cash-in and cash-out) / Moneris reconciliation
  • Conduct financial and cash flow analysis and reporting to provide areas of improvement and
recommendation to management * Other duties as requiredRequirements
  • College diploma in accounting and/or bookkeeping or “hands-on” job experience equivalence, minimum of
5 years / relevant accounting designation CPA/CGA/CMA * Proficient with windows, mac ands iPadOS environments along with various software such as database,spreadsheet, word processors, email, calendar, Xero, Lightspeed. * Has excellent organizational and administration skills, in addition to advanced computer skills

Working Conditions
This is a part-time position, working once or twice a week at the office.
