Senior control analyst, Internal Audit Coordination team

- Work with Inspection Générale North America (IGNA) senior leadership to establish headcount and expense budget. Coordinate with local finance and central Inspection finance team. Track the actual vs. budget and provide monthly variation analysis, forecast and accrual if any.
- Manage the internal and external procurement activities for IGNA, including inter-company allocation production and analysis.
- Maintain audit management dashboard inclusive of relevant analysis pertaining to Key Risk Indicator (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) impacting the audit function.
- Act as the first point of contact for queries arising from Central inspection in Paris pertaining to audit missions, recommendations, and cartography. Act as point of contact for critical system updates and changes internally and from Head Office regarding IG systems, which are specialized/ custom developed workflow tools.
- Track internal audit findings and recommendations for closure status, to ensure submissions are on target to meet closure date. Analyze past due internal recommendations, escalating where appropriate to ensure resolution to critical items.
- Assist in the audit report issuance and monitoring of related KPI.
- Assist in preparation of IGNA’s quarterly presentations to the board/audit committee
- Bachelor's degree in applicable and related field (Accounting and/or Finance preferred).
- Minimum of six years of audit and/or finance experience in the banking industry.
- Strong understanding of finance concepts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders locally and at head office
- Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team, liaise with audit teams and adapt to new situations and approaches. Excellent written and oral communication skills to interact effectively with a variety of levels throughout the organization
- Positive attitude dedicated towards achieving results for the “team;” progressive thinking skills, strong work ethic; and problem-solving skills required.
- Given the vast majority of our clients, both internal and external, are based outside of Quebec and Canada, specific language requirements may apply. Knowledge of English is required
