- Adds value and creates efficiencies through an operationally focused approach of technology usage.
- Builds relationships by engaging with project teams, project managers, business area stakeholders and department managers.
- Has a boots on the ground approach with being on construction sites multiple times a week.
- Provides support, troubleshooting, training and gathers feedback for newly implemented technology within construction sites.
- Supports the Digital Construction team in providing business process, application requirements definition, and documentation for digital initiatives.
- Collaborates with the Digital Construction team to document and visualize business related data that aid in identifying trends, clearly communicate complex data and support data-driven decision-making.
- Maintains accurate and up-to-date system documentation.
- Attends meetings and shadows the Technology Solutions team members.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Ability to evaluate and integrate technology as it relates to the needs of the business.
- Construction knowledge is an asset.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products (i.e. Office 365, Power BI, Azure, etc. is an asset)
- Ability to learn and apply troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical end users.
- Ability to share knowledge and work in a strong team-oriented environment.
- Excellent Communication / Writing Skills.
- Strong analytical skills and problem solving.
- Skills in computer programming is preferable.
- Strong work ethic and emphasis on attention to details.
