Our client seeks a Senior Endpoint Specialist for a 6-month contract. This expert will oversee the deployment of endpoint security software throughout the organization.Location: Downtown Toronto office (Hybrid)Required Qualifications:Proficiency in Microsoft Intune
Experience with Autopilot deployment
Familiarity with Zscaler
Knowledge of Microsoft Defender
Competence in SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)
Understanding of BitLocker encryption

Design and architect client endpoint solutions, incorporating the latest technologies and industry-standard practices while leading the evaluation, selection, and integration of endpoint hardware, software, and security solutions to meet the evolving needs of clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and manage client endpoint systems, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) endpoints.
Develop comprehensive client endpoint strategies that encompass user experience, security, scalability, and performance considerations.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to software development teams, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and principles as well as in troubleshooting complex endpoint issues, diagnosing hardware and software problems, and resolving performance bottlenecks.
Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and trends that can enhance client endpoint solutions and overall user experiences.
Conduct thorough assessments of existing client endpoint environments and provide recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
Define and enforce endpoint security measures, including encryption, access controls, authentication, and data protection.
Ensure all endpoint devices are enrolled in MDM platforms used by company
Ensure all endpoint devices at all times remain updated with latest security patches to remain compliant with security posture of company
Create and maintain documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical guidelines, and best practices for client endpoint solutions.
Architect and implement robust endpoint security measures, including endpoint protection platforms, encryption, patch management, and access controls.
Mentor and provide guidance to other junior IT staff, sharing your extensive knowledge and fostering a culture of continuous learning.Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Intune
Experience with Autopilot deployment
Familiarity with Zscaler
Knowledge of Microsoft Defender
Competence in SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager)

Familiarity with Microsoft AzureExperience in designing and managing Microsoft Intune MDM for Windows devices and Jamf MDM and Apple Business Manager for MacBooks, iOS Phones
Expertise in a wide range of client technologies, including but not limited to Windows (MS Azure, Autopilot, Defender), macOS, mobile devices (iOS), and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
Proficiency in modern endpoint management tools, such as Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms.
Industry certifications such as Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, or similar credentials are a plus.
In-depth knowledge of endpoint management and automation tools, such as SCCM, Intune, JAMF, or similar solutions.
In-depth knowledge of auto-deployment solutions setup and management for Windows, iOS and MacOS devices.
Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, etc.) and cloud-based endpoint management platforms.Summary
