We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Westminster to assist with the appointment of a Homeless Prevention Coordinator, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.   • Manage through contracts and service delivery the of move-on accommodation that achieves independence for people and meets the Councils prevention objectives.
  • Manage with the Homelessness Prevention Manager early intervention and effective prevention is our major priority. Working with our providers and commissioned contractors to develop comprehensive programmes of support that helps address the wider factors of poverty, disadvantage, unemployment, health, mental health, and well-being.
  • Maintain close working with the Rough Sleeping (Accommodation) team to manage rapid move-on delivery supporting proactive interventions and rapid response delivery by providers and commissioned services.
  • Manage with the Homelessness Prevention Manager to implement and a manage the delivery of commissioning and procurement contracts that streamline, structure, and optimise the delivery model across the whole service with a focus on rapid housing, PRS, housing-led solutions that adopt a person-centred approach across all delivery.
  • Administer with the Data and Performance Manager and team to ensure data on performance across all commissioned services are in place and to highlight when remedial and corrective action that may be required due to significant variances.
  • Undertake a range of duties that deliver partnership working, including acting as an effective ambassador and advocate with external organisations.
Required Experience:
  • Project and Programme management experience within a large service organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team and/or function including the management of professional staff.
  • Substantial experience and demonstrated knowledge of procurement and supplier relationship management.
  • Ability to analyse financial and performance information, understand the business context and extract key facts to deliver improvement and opportunities.
