Construction Labour

• The rate of pay will be $21+ an hour
• Monday – Friday: 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
• Odd evening/weekend shift

• Assisting Tradespeople: Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers by fetching tools, materials, and equipment, and providing general assistance as needed.
• Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by cleaning, clearing debris, and ensuring the area is safe and accessible for work.
• Material Handling: Transport materials to designated areas on-site, including lifting, carrying, and loading/unloading materials such as lumber, bricks, and concrete.
• Operate Equipment: Safely operate construction equipment and machinery, such as forklifts, skid-steers, and power tools, following all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Construction Support: Assist in various construction tasks, including digging trenches, pouring concrete, erecting scaffolding, and installing fixtures.
• Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning tools and equipment, and ensuring hazardous materials are properly disposed of.
• Adherence to Safety Standards: Follow all safety regulations and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries on the job site.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Class 5 driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Safety minded
• Lift 50+ lbs. safely and consistently
• Steel toed boots & work gloves
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly on site
• Punctual and reliable
• Ability to safely use hand tools
• Perform basic mathematics
• Ability to problem solve

• CSTS 2020
• Previous experience in a similar setting
