Randstad's Industrial Division is recruiting for a forklift operator for a busy concrete production company in Calgary.
The ideal candidate for this position will have previous experience operating all terrain forklifts in a manufacturing or construction setting. Additionally, they will need to be comfortable with heavy lifting and working in a noisy, dirty and dusty production environment. You need to be ready and willing to roll your sleeves up and help out your team!Shift: Monday -Thursday, 2:30PM-1AM, 40 hour condensed week
Wage: $23/hr
Setting: Loud, production facility and yard

What will your daily responsibilities look like?- Operating the Counterbalance Forklift ( Counterbalance Cat. 4500 lbs lifting capacity)
- Working with other departments to ensure steady work flow
- Maintains a clean and organized work area
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently
- Any other warehouse duties as assigned.Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have **previous experience** operating a forklift in a construction/manufacturing/production/industrial setting to expedite the training process. Internal certification will be providedMUST - PPE 6 inch steel toe boots (cover the ankle)

- ability to work independently and in a team environment
- ability to stand for up to 8 hours
- ability to lift up to 50lbs repetitively
