This full-time role will be a 9 to 12-month contract for our Quebec team.Your work environment at EXPIn this role, you will be a part of the Recruitment team, within our Shared Services department preferably based in Montréal (Laval, Longueuil, Montréal, Saint-Jerome, Vaudreuil-Dorion) and will have the opportunity to work on recruiting top talent to join EXP!We are looking for someone who has a true passion for recruitment and who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment. As a Bilingual Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist (French/English) at EXP, you will be responsible for executing strategic sourcing plans to create talent pipelines for technical and professional engineering staff. In this role you are skilled at mining talent pools, navigating employment landscapes, and executing web and social media campaigns in the hunt for the right talent. This position will work as part of a North American team of recruiting professionals with a focus on finding talent and filling positions across Canada and the United States, and in particular within the province of Quebec.Ready to Engineer your future with us?What a day at EXP has in store for you
  • Develop recruiting and sourcing strategies to generate candidate flow and talent pipeline requirements
  • Partner with hiring managers and directors to find quality candidates
  • Proactively identify and cold call candidates to build a talent pipeline
  • Participate in full-cycle recruitment including:
  • Partner with business leaders and HR Managers to develop job postings
  • Create sourcing strategies to source top talent at EXP
  • Establish and develop interview questions, pre-screen applicants
  • Conducting reference checks and negotiating terms of employment agreement
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates including but not limited to; social media, colleges, universities and professional associations
  • Identify emerging recruitment trends and provide recommendations for innovative search strategies
  • Develop and foster strong relationships with internal hiring managers by leveraging excellent communication skills
  • Foster strong relationships with diverse professional engineering organizations, and associations to attract and build candidate networks
  • Maintain all supporting recruitment records
  • Other duties as assigned
What your experience looks like
  • You have 3-5 years' experience in recruiting
  • You have completed a Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology or any related degree
  • You can communicate fluently in French and English
  • You understand full-cycle recruiting within the province of Quebec
  • You have a keen sense of organization, self motivation, and problem-solving
  • You have a proven track record working in a high-volume recruitment setting
  • You have had prior experience in a third-party staffing firm, agency, or engineering firm
  • You have experience with an applicant tracking system (Oracle Cloud Preferred)
  • You are passionate about being a subject matter recruitment expert
  • You are able to develop strong working relationships at all levels: with peers, managers, hiring managers, our HR team and at the leadership level
  • You have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • You have strong research, networking, and sourcing skills
