Apply today!Our Building Specialty Services (BSS) group is one of the fastest growing service offerings at our organization that includes a diverse mix of professionals with practical design, field, and industry research and product development expertise. This group is able to seek the best projects with the best clients because they deliver expertise that empower designers to create high performing buildings without compromising budget or function.Responsibilities:Assist writing proposals and establishing financial budgetsAssist with project document reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.)Attend pre-construction meetings and document discussionsAssist with review and report on project mock-upsAssist with performance of periodic site visits and utilize a site visit reporting system to identify and update action itemsAssist with performance of field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.)Assist in small project management and coordinationParticipate in continuing educationPeriodic out of state travelPerform various office related tasksQualifications:Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related fieldPursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plusGeneral knowledge of Building Science principles or Building Envelope components is a plusExperience as a Building Envelope Consultant and/or Trade Expert is a plusOrganizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projectsAbility to work in a team environmentStrong customer service commitmentExcellent communication and documentation skillsProfessional attitudeCommitment to succeedPersistenceStrong work ethicValid Driver's license and access to a vehicleJob Type: RegularJob Profile: For internal use Consultant IIMorrison Hershfield, now Stantec is committed to having an inclusive and diverse workforce, with recruitment free of discrimination, ensuring all candidates are given a fair opportunity for employment.
