- Responsible for task delegation, performance assessment, staff training, performance reviews, and supervising production processes to guarantee accurate, timely, and budget-compliant project completion.
- Responsible for facility upkeep, including electrical, heating, and cooling systems.
- Supervise daily Maintenance department operations, analyzing staffing needs for efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and install electrical systems/machinery as needed and repair and maintain existing equipment.
- Coordinate various activities like manufacturing, installation, and testing to meet specifications and customer requirements. Perform detailed calculations to establish standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and customers on projects. Inspect installations and operations for compliance with specifications and safety standards.
- Oversee project production for accuracy, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Compile data and write reports on engineering studies and projects.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and employment standards and implement safety measures in automation changes.
- Additional related maintenance supervisory duties.
- 3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Valid skilled trade license, 442A, 443A or 309A.
- Strong mechanical/electrical skills.
- Familiarity and background in ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 certification systems preferred
- Familiarity and background in laser welding technology are preferred but not required.
- Experience in team building and leadership in a supervisory role
- Keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written
