  • The E4 - Engineer is a professional engineer or geoscientist who applies engineering knowledge to provide engineering, estimating, planning, and quality management services for medium complexity projects and/or operations safely, with quality, within budget, and on time.

*At the heart of the construction team you use your technical expertise to get answers to complex technical queries and problems by bringing design engineers and contractors together to keep construction on track.
  • Construction oversight on major projects, working with our contractors to ensure proper coordination and staging of construction activities.
  • Perform first-level quality assurance to confirm that the execution of work is in accordance with the plans, specifications, drawings, and industry standards.
  • Ensure that tests and inspections are performed, witnessed, and documented in accordance with approved procedures and contract requirements. You do the field review, or you coordinate witness and hold points for critical components and documenting these activities in field review records.
  • Maintain strong relationships and liaise with different discipline design engineering staff, both to conduct field review and to organize timely resolution of technical issues. You are the eyes and ears of the POR in the field, as their delegate.
Qualifications
  • Degree in Geotechnical, Geological or Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum eight (8) years of experience in a relevant engineering field or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience in geotechnical engineering
Must haves:
-P.Eng and Practice to Permit
-Construction experience
-Valid Class 5 Driver's License
-Demonstrated technical writing and presentation skills, excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.Summary
