- This is a full-time role working within our Service Centre in Edmonton.
- You will report to the Team Manager, working as part of a team, this will include all aspects of millwright services: disassembly, cleaning, repairing, fitting, machining, welding and balancing. You will service High Speed Separators, Decanter rotating assemblies, and gearboxes to the standard expected of us as an OEM.
- You will be able to read engineered drawings and follow repair instructions accurately, using measuring tools and working within an ISO 9001 environment.
- You will work safely within a HSE safety environment utilizing PPE and following our HSE requirements.
- You will have experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
- Flexibility is key as you will be expected to work on many different types of equipment as part of the Alfa Laval product line.
- Training for the successful candidate will be provided for our products and processes.
- You are a Journeyman Millwright or Industrial Mechanic with experience in an industrial work environment, ideally on rotating equipment, would be a definite asset.
- You are a self-starter who is hardworking and enthusiastic to learn.
- You have the ability to work well independently and also within the team.
- Overtime and flexibility in work hours will be expected.

- Ability to troubleshoot & solve technical problems and work independently.
- Safety mindset.
- Computer skills (Microsoft Office and Web based applications)
