Location: Halifax, Nova ScotiaAs a Service Technician for our client in Halifax, your main responsibilities include maintaining and servicing both the client's and other brand equipment, advising customers on machine operations while promoting the service products, diagnosing faults in new equipment, supporting local customers efficiently, staying updated on product knowledge through training, and managing administrative tasks such as time sheets and service reports.Salary: $30-35/hr.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Travel: Local, within a ~30-minute radius of HalifaxAdvantages

Your Role:
As a Service Technician with our client you will be the face of the company, providing exceptional service and maintenance to our customers' equipment. Your responsibilities will include:Conducting maintenance and service on the client's products and other brand equipment.
Advising customers on machine operations and maintenance requirements while promoting the client's service products.
Commissioning new equipment and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
Supporting our local customer base and maximizing time utilization.
Updating your product knowledge through training programs and company resources.
Managing administrative duties such as time sheets and service reports.
Identifying and communicating new business opportunities to management.Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:Certification in Industrial Mechanics or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in written and verbal English communication.
A valid driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
Strong self-management skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Physical endurance and willingness to travel, work in various conditions, and lift up to 50lbs.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Outlook.
Experience servicing compressed air equipment (preferred).Summary
