The successful candidate will need to demonstrate an understanding of industry trends and market opportunities to develop new products and solutions.Reporting directly to the VP Solution Engineering, this person will be a key member of the regional leadership team for Marketing Cloud, with responsibility to manage and grow a team of Specialist Solution Engineers in Enterprise, playing a crucial role in driving a high-growth business. You will be responsible for developing and allocating resources, participating in strategic deals, and supporting team members' growth. You will collaborate closely with the Solution Engineering management team and peers in sales to drive strategic outcomes for customers and internal innovation.Key Responsibilities
  • Support the growth of the business: identifying, hiring and on-boarding talent, prioritising and allocating resources, mentoring and nurturing team members, supporting team career development and employee performance reviews.
  • Strategic deal reviews and account planning and identifying and supporting big bets.
  • You'll need to be hands-on and work with your team members to pursue complex challenges, as well as oversee corporate/external resources when required.
  • Provide guidance on sales strategies, approaches to solve specific problems, as well as a represent the team’s at an executive level.
  • Drive strategic initiatives and programs as needed
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews and Account Planning
  • Focus on innovation - ensure the team is constantly improving their approach to solution selling
  • Collaborate with internal resources such as Sales Management, Product Management, Product Marketing, and Customer Success
  • Own executive relationships with our key technical customer contacts and deliver thought leadership
Required Skills:
  • 5+ years experience leading Enterprise Solution Engineering teams and driving a high performance culture
  • A demonstrable track record of success across the ANZ region by partnering with Sales stakeholders to achieve revenue objectives.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce technologies, and be able to present to a business or technical audience.
  • Solid understanding of MarTech, AdTech and Analytics technologies and trends, as well as data and AI capabilities, coupled with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to drive innovation
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce CRM platform and how it fits within the Digital Product stack
  • Strong communication skills in managing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Good problem-solving capabilities, organised, and able to work on many tasks at the same time.
  • Good fundamental sales skills (Value and Solution Selling) and good management skills.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and distinctly explain technological and business concepts
