- Document current and future state processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Use information gathering techniques to proactively discover requirements and synthesise information accurately, completely, and coherently.
- Work collaboratively with delivery teams and business stakeholders to gather, validate and document business requirements and develop recommendations and solutions that meet business and customer needs.
- Raise, and support mitigation and resolution of, risks and issues using established tools and frameworks were applicable
- Create detailed user stories to support delivery
- Work close with squad / project members, including but not limited to Project Manager, Scrum Master, Developers, Tech Leads, Test Analyst to identify, capture, plan and deliver changes
- Mentor/train team members; participate and contribute to business analyst chapter and/or forums providing insights and thought leadership
- Minimum 5 years' business analysis experience in a project/delivery orientated role; from a large organisation
- Minimum 3 years' Agile, Lean and waterfall experience including knowledge of Agile practices, workshops, and Agile ceremonies facilitation
- Working in the regulatory space is desired
- Must be able to translate and understand business and technical requirements and provide appropriate alternatives and solutions to meet those requirements.
- Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills including experience in dealing with various stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Strong team player with a positive attitude, willingness to learn and desire to make a difference
- Must be able to manage multiple complex initiatives with competing deadlines
- Demonstrated flexibility and resilience in responding to changing priorities.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
