You will enjoy the benefits of being part of a network of over 130 Catholic Early EdCare services in South East Queensland and part of the Catholic Archdiocese of Brisbane.We are seeking to appoint an Early Years Educator (Children’s Services Employee) who has experience working as part of an inclusion support program to join our team at Star of the Sea Long Day Care and Kindy.To be successful in this role, you must be enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about supporting children in their early years. You love helping them fulfil happiness through growing, development, and are committed to seeing them learn, all while having fun in a comfortable safe environment.As an Inclusion Support Educator, you will play a vital role in developing our childrenu0027s lifelong love of learning!
  • Provide direct one on one support to children with additional needs within the centre
  • Passionate about creating and delivering a stimulating learning environment for all children
  • Assist with daily centre practices, whilst supporting team members with childrenu0027s learning and documentation
  • Ability to create meaningful connections with families and Educators
Job Requirements:
  • Holds a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care
  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Experience working within an inclusion support role would be highly desirable
  • Knowledge and understanding of the child care industry practices including legislative requirements and quality frameworks
  • Awareness of the National Quality Framework, and Queensland Kindergarten guidelines
  • A passion for the education and care of children aged 6 months -Kindergarten aged in a play-based learning environment
  • The ability to support all children in an active indoor and outdoor Kindergarten program
  • Effective workplace communication skills
