Randstad has partnered with a specialist in C&I and utility scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) in Australia and abroad! As Australia continues to increase it's adoption of renewable energy, our client is offering cutting-edge, plug-and-play turnkey solutions. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer that will play a highly important role in designing, developing and carrying out BESS solutions.Reporting to the Engineering Manager, these are things you will be tasked with doing:

Overseeing the design and development of electrical systems for BESS projects
Strong emphasis on C&I and utility scale BESS projects.
Supervising and mentoring junior engineers in the business.

In essence, if you have worked in a similar role for a company either in Power & Renewables or Infrastructure at a high level then these responsibilities should be second nature. As well as working in a similar role, my client is keen to look at candidates with the following:

Well-rounded experience as an Electrical Engineer with an understanding of the DNSP function, HV protection, and hands-on experience conducting grid studies will be highly advantageous.
Minimum Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience working in either Power & Renewables or Infrastructure sectors.
Proficiency in electrical design software; AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar.
Ambition, drive & the hunger to progress and better yourself.
