As true partners to the business, we deliver a best-in-class service, shaping both people and business strategy across all of Nine's assets.An exciting opportunity has come up for someone to step into a 12 months Parental Leave cover as People & Culture (P&C) Business Partner, and truly make an impact on business and commercial outcomes.The P&C Business Partner will partner with Nine's Radio, Finance & Sales teams across Australia - creating and delivering people strategy across all three businesses, as well as managing all Learning & Development programs across the remit.Working with our Talk Radio Stations 2GB, 3AW, 4BC and 6PR, you will partner directly with the Managing Director of Nine Radio and play a key role on the Radio Leadership Team to create and implement people strategy across Nine Radio, as well as taking the lead on People Strategy with our Finance Leadership team.Additionally, this role plays a critical part in the Learning & Development of our National Sales Team. Line managing our Training Coordinator, you will be responsible for developing and executing a full suite of learning content, modules and programs to upskill the teams in line with business objectives and strategy.This role would suit an experienced P&C Business Partner with previous experience partnering with Senior Executives and an interest in Learning & Development.The ideal candidate will have the ability to operate at a strategic level, manage through ambiguity and complexity - whilst not being afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump into the detail.ResponsibilitiesWorking with the Head of People and Culture, develop people strategies across Sales, Radio & Finance that enables us to attract, develop and retain key talent - which is tailored to the individual business needsSitting across leadership teams in Radio & Finance, partner with senior stakeholders to understand the individual strategic challenges of each business unit and create people strategy to allow the achievement of commercial and business outcomesTake a lead role in the design, creation and implementation of Learning & Development programs across Sales (Sales Academy), Create learning content, identify external providers and deliver a learning framework aligned to Sales strategy and future skills buildingCreate and deliver learning programs as needed across Finance & Radio gaining buy in from senior stakeholders and momentum in delivery, engagement and embeddingCreate, drive and deliver key people initiatives across the business, including Performance & Development plans, Leadership capability, Talent & Succession, Health & wellbeing and Reward & Recognition programsProvide day-to-day advice and support to People Leaders (e.g., coaching, counselling, career development, disciplinary actions) with the ability to challenge, and influence, driving engagement with the sales teams.Drive engagement with the business units through communications, regular information updates and listening strategiesPositively contribute to the development of an engaged and aligned Nine culture by role-modelling our Values and BehavioursEmbed a high-performance culture through coaching leaders to manage performanceWork with the broader People and Culture team to support company wide initiatives in collaboration with the COE's including Leadership Development, Development Conversations, Employee Engagement and Talent Acquisition initiativesQualificationsBroad experience as a generalist HR Business Partner - partnering with senior stakeholders, Executives and Leadership TeamsA strong ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes, with the confidence to challenge decisionsDemonstrated experience in the delivery of Learning & Development programs for large scale teams (sales team experience beneficial)Ability to switch between strategy and hands-on business partneringStrong analytical skills, and ability to pull reports - with experience influencing decisions using available data sourcesDemonstrated ability to problem solve and manage conflicting priorities across stakeholders and resilience and drive - a passion to drive outcomes in sometimes challenging circumstances.Knowledge of best practice people practices including employee relations, recruitment, reward, performance management, talent development and engagement with demonstrated experience in leading change initiatives and managing complex people projectsConfident presenter and written communicator - able to adapt style and influence culture through communicationsResilience and drive - a passion to drive outcomes in sometimes challenging circumstancesAdditional InformationOur Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:At Nine, we are committed to fostering a workforce that embraces all aspects of diversity and inclusion and where practices are equitable to ensure our people experience a sense of belonging.
