- Prepare of short order meals as required
- Monitor waste management
- Work area is kept clean as per Food Safety standards, kitchen hygiene and cleanliness standards are adhered too, including thorough kitchen cleaning and sanitizing
- Inform coordinators of issues in Main Kitchen
- Oversee main meal reheating by Cook Employed alone
- Daily ordering, daily audits as required, and reports compiled to Coordinator & Manager.
- Food Safety Certificate HLTFSE001
- Food Safety Supervisors Certificate HLTFSE005 & HLTFSE007
- Certificate 111 or 1V Commercial Cookery or equivilant trade certificate
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
- Previous experience in an Aged Care environment (desirable)
