We have a unique opportunity available for an experienced all-rounder to join our Devonport site as a Silo Operator! We are looking for an individual who is mechanically minded, an excellent communicator and always exercises a high-level of safety in all tasks.About the role:In this role, you will be responsible for:

Efficient and safe Operation of our Devonport Silos which includes unloading of trains and loading of ships from our Devonport terminal.
Effectively communicating with ship personnel and TAS Rail personnel when carrying out loading/unloading of freight.
Attending to all operating plant and ensure plant delays are minimised by quickly attending to all plant and services malfunctions.
Utilise your mechanical mindset to identify and pre-empt potential problem areas within the plant operations.

The roster for this position is a continuous shift rotation (4x12) and forms part of a small cross functional team.About you:

You have previous experience in a similar heavy industry, construction, or mining environment
Demonstrated problem solving skills
A strong work ethic
The ability to contribute to a positive team environment
A strong focus on safety and compliance
Ability to undertake occasional physically demanding aspects of the role
