- Collaborate with the MC to refine and execute a comprehensive organizational strategy plan aligned with our vision and mission.
- Lead organization development efforts to accommodate future growth and improve operational capabilities.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve improved year-on-year profit for reinvestment into our community and biosphere.
- Maintain excellent customer relationships through strong retention efforts and exceptional service.
- Identify funding opportunities, develop funding applications, and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.
- Provide effective leadership and management of staff, working collaboratively with department heads and the MC.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including natural resource management groups and government entities.
- Develop and manage organizational budgets, ensuring effective expenditure controls and financial management.
- Provide timely and accurate reporting to the MC on financial and productivity achievements.
- Support customer-facing operations with marketing, public relations, and sales efforts.
- Extensive experience or qualifications in business management, particularly in the profit-for-purpose sector and preferably in the environmental sector.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and motivate employees to deliver results.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage operations within budgets.
- Excellent critical thinking skills and ability to meet performance targets.
- Experience in marketing and excellent communication skills.
- Well-developed skills in liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- The ability to implement change and deliver outcomes across the organization.
- An established network and relationships in the environmental and relevant government space will be highly regarded.
- A genuine passion for environmental and community outcomes.
- A current C class driver’s license and the ability to travel locally.
